This awesome family of 3 was a joy to capture. They are really the essence of what Pure Love Captured stands for. The love, energy, vibrance, excitement, romance all beamed right through and I was happy I captured all that pure love. They were all fantastic and let’s not forget about our awesome backdrop – my favourite spot to shoot – the beach!
My family photo shoots always have a great mix of photographs in them. There’s great captures of the whole family together, individual shots with the child or children (like mom with her daughter and dad with his daughter in this series), and I always get the parents aside and take some of them – just for them! (If there were more kids – I would do a few sibling shots, and if the parents wanted I would take a few portraits of them individually also. So everyone has some personalized memories from just one single session!
I don’t know why, but I’m going through a sepia phase with a lot of my photos ;P I shoot all in colour and keep those of course, but somehow the softness of an antiqued sepia always looks great. Thanks Irla family for such a wonderful photography session!
I thought this was hilarious!!!
This is another beautiful portrait session I did for Miss Violetta. This was the same day as the previous shoot – but with a wardrobe and (slight) location change. As you can see, the look is very different and yet they were done within minutes of one another. That’s the best way to wrap up a professional shoot – and kill two birds with one stone. Oh these poor little birds get it every time…. well, you get my point, right?
I love this earthy, feminine, beautiful look on Violetta. I was really inspired by her gypsy-like beauty and knew exactly what would look good on her and where we should meet for the photo shoot. And so this Bohemian Chic look was created. I brought in the wardrobe again for this shoot and we both loved how it all got pulled together.
I couldn’t be happier with these shots – and she was more than thrilled herself! ;D
See you next time! xo
This was a fun photography session I recently did for Miss Violetta. I love how these turned out. I brought in the wardrobe – which was a little on the sexy side – but it totally works. She’s young, beautiful – why not show those model legs! The water was perfect that day and neither she (nor I) minded that cooling and soothing feel of the water…. I was very happy with how these turned out. More to come, with a bit more earthy style. See you soon!
